Building Better Schools is $692 million state government program to upgrade infrastructure at 91 South Australian public schools.

Each school upgrade will be tailored to the needs of the school and will vary in scope and size. This means that there are lots of opportunities for businesses of all sizes and all types to be involved. For example some schools may use the money to upgrade an existing facility like a library or classrooms, and other schools might construct a completely new building or outside area. The funding can also be used to remove old buildings and improve landscaping and outdoor spaces.

The 91 schools receiving the funding are in metropolitan and regional areas throughout South Australia, meaning that businesses from all across the state have the opportunity to register to work on an upgrade.

We encourage South Australian businesses to register for work and believe this is a great way for them to contribute to their local community.

Registration is done through an online form on the Department for Education and Child Development website.

Registration from architects has closed, but architects can still register for future opportunities using this online form.
