Aboriginal Industry Participation Consultant
Carly Zanini will commence the position of Aboriginal Industry Participation Consultant on 28th February 2022.
Her experience in supporting businesses to showcase their capabilities and discover opportunities aligns perfectly in her new role with the Office of the Industry Advocate (OIA). This new role will be a conduit for various stakeholders and will allow Carly to form a strong network of current and emerging South Australian Aboriginal-owned businesses, gain a thorough understanding of their capabilities, as well as develop collaborative relationships with government and private sector companies in order to promote awareness and assist in sourcing local indigenous products and services.
“I am passionate about taking Indigenous procurement in South Australia to a new level through innovation and strategic development and cannot wait to establish connections with all involved in the process” said Carly.
Throughout her career, including self-employment, Carly has been exposed to the OIA and the advocacy for South Australian businesses. As a self-employed tender support consultant for the construction and civil industry, Carly assisted many businesses with their bids, including the development of Industry Participation Plans.
