The South Australian and Australian Governments have committed $2.4 billion to secure the future of the Whyalla steelworks and related operations—an essential asset to the nation’s economy. To provide immediate relief, the Whyalla Emergency Response Package has been launched to support businesses and workers affected by the steelworks administration.

John Chapman OAM, Industry Advocate, has expanded his role with his appointment as Whyalla Regional Coordinator by the State Government. His role is to assist businesses impacted by the steelworks challenges and help them navigate available support.
