Once you have reviewed your quote or tender and are satisfied all requirements have been met, you are ready to submit. The way in which you submit your response to a quote or tender will be clearly communicated by the Government agency approaching the market.

No matter which format you are submitting your quote or tender, always ensure you are leaving yourself plenty of time to account for any unforeseen issues, such as internet failures, login issues or address mix ups that may see you submit your tender after the closing date and time.

Uploaded Online

If you are submitting your response online through the SA Tenders and Contracts website, ensure you are logged into your account.

Email Delivery

When submitting by email, ensure your documentation file sizes do not exceed 5-10MB. With this in mind, it’s advised to submit your response ahead of the closing time to mitigate late delivery in case of technical issues.

Physical Delivery (Hardcopy and/or USB)

If your are submitting a hardcopy and/or USB response, make sure you know where it needs to be delivered and relevant submission deadlines.

Quick Tip   -   Remember, the deadline for submitting your response is hard and fast & necessary to ensure all businesses have exactly the same amount of time to respond to a tender. No extensions are permitted. The SA Tenders & Contracts website will not allow you to submit a response after the close date/time.
