State procurement policies require local businesses to have a fair opportunity at gaining State Government work. For many small or medium businesses, that’s a challenge.

How to start and who to speak to within the different Government agencies, can be confusing. To help support our local businesses to navigate this process, the Industry Advocate has established the SA Product & Services Register.

Specifically created to build the profile of businesses in South Australia, the SA Product & Services Register is an easy to access and navigate online platform that enables you to profile your business’ capabilities, highlighting the products and/or services you offer.

By registering, the Office of the Industry Advocate will then promote your profile to government buyers.

  • It’s completely free for businesses to be listed on the register.
  • There are no registration fees
  • There are no ongoing fees associated with maintenance of your profile on the website.

A key focus when developing this registry was to ensure that it’s as simple as possible for businesses to navigate and register. The registry has been developed to require minimal adaptation to existing business websites. The process was designed to make sure that when a government buyer connects to a business website, it’s clear and easy for that buyer to find pertinent business information.

What do I need to build my profile?

To register and build your profile, you will need to supply:

  • Your business logo
  • A short description about your business
  • Select your business category (regional category included).

The final step to complete your listing is to use the state’s brand (logo will be provided) on your website. The Industry Advocate will then link your profile to your website, helping connect you with Government opportunities.
