As part of the government’s procurement process, sometimes after you have submitted your tender you may be contacted for a post-tender interview for clarification, further information as well as feedback.

If you are involved in a post tender interview, some examples of discussion points that may be addressed include:

  • Clarification on prices and/or evidence of price determination.
  • Clarifications or feedback on proposed timelines
Any discrepancies the evaluation panel may have noticed in your response.
  • Requests for site inspections or workplace inspections.
  • Further discussions on qualifications and qualified personnel.

This interview does not mean you have been awarded the contract, it is simply an avenue for clarification and further feedback so ensure you are prepared.
