If you are unsuccessful in your tender response you may request a formal debrief meeting to discuss the reasons why the bid was unsuccessful. This is a valuable opportunity to gain information that may help you submit more competitive bids in the future.

The debrief itself will be straight forward and will outline the strengths and opportunities of your submission, but will not include any comparisons to other or the winning submission/s. With this in mind, before your debrief it may be helpful to review your tender submission against the specification and the evaluation criteria at least once more.

Examples of discussion points that may be addressed, but are not limited to, include:

  • Your experience, qualifications and/or past performance
  • Indications of cost competitiveness
  • Your level of compliance in meeting criteria
  • Delivery dates and timelines
  • Industry Participation
