When there is opportunity for further economic development for the State from procurement, a Tailored Industry Participation Plan is created.

A Tailored Industry Participation Plan can be designed to consider:

  • Employment and sub-contracting opportunities on major infrastructure and construction projects (e.g. a focus on apprentices and trainees).
  • Aboriginal Economic Participation
  • Other Socio-economic objectives
  • Design and specifications that ensure the economic benefit is considered when the design is created.
  • Industry Development and Investment Attraction
  • The Steel Industry.

Similarly to a standard, Industry Participation Plan:

  • Take the time to show the evaluation team the economic benefits that will flow from your business winning the tender.
  • Provide accurate information and avoid embellishing your responses, as this will demonstrate to the tender evaluation team with confidence that you can deliver on the commitments you make
  • Complete all necessary fields.
