When there is opportunity for further economic development for the State from procurement, a Tailored Industry Participation Plan is created.
A Tailored Industry Participation Plan can be designed to consider:
- Employment and sub-contracting opportunities on major infrastructure and construction projects (e.g. a focus on apprentices and trainees).
- Aboriginal Economic Participation
- Other Socio-economic objectives
- Design and specifications that ensure the economic benefit is considered when the design is created.
- Industry Development and Investment Attraction
- The Steel Industry.
Similarly to a standard, Industry Participation Plan:
- Take the time to show the evaluation team the economic benefits that will flow from your business winning the tender.
- Provide accurate information and avoid embellishing your responses, as this will demonstrate to the tender evaluation team with confidence that you can deliver on the commitments you make
- Complete all necessary fields.
