Pre-qualification does not mean guaranteed work, but it may provide potential access to tender opportunities which may not be available to others.

Pre-qualification is generally used for:

  • Professional service contractors who carry out the design and management functions of projects to meet agency requirements
  • Construction contractors who contract with agencies to carry out physical building and construction work.

Pre-qualification for building and construction projects, includes major and minor building construction projects, building maintenance, property services and government accommodation.
